Would a jeweler be able to do this?

So, today I inherited my grandmother's wedding ring.I never realized that she had such tiny fingers. I'm really small, and my fingers are super tiny, but not as small as hers. I was wondering, if I were to take it into the jewelers, could they extend the band some? It's got a diamond set on it and smaller ones on the bottom of it.

Would I be able to have them size it to fit my finger or would I have to like make it a necklace or something? thanks!

as long as it's not titanium, a jeweler can resize it.
